Notice: There will be no more LAC trainings for 2022. Check back later for 2023 dates.
This workshop is geared for pastors, church council members, judicatory leaders, and laypersons from all denominations. Rooted in Scripture and grounded in Bowen family systems theory, Leadership and Anxiety looks at the challenges presented by the rising levels of anxiety experienced in churches today. A special feature of this event is the incorporation of images of fine works of art from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras that facilitate theological reflection on the themes being presented. Among the topics to be presented: How to Distinguish Between Acute Anxiety and Chronic Anxiety, How the Scapegoating Process Impacts Church Conflict, and Enhance Your Role as a Leader in the Church.
This event is conducted online via Zoom and runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm CENTRAL TIME. It will be led by Rev. Richard Blackburn, LMPC Director Emeritus.
Members of groups (four or more registrants) can save $15 apiece, provided they register all together in a single transaction. For further information, please contact the LMPC office at 630-627-0507 or [email protected].
A hard copy of the LAC manual will be mailed at least one week prior to the event; thus, online registration will shut down a week before the event date.
